Eric Matthew Anderson is a Christian author, composer, and recovery mentor. He is the founder of Faith Recovery Now, a ministry dedicated to helping people find freedom from addiction through the sovereign grace of God, the power of His Word, and prayer, calling sinners to repentance and renewal in Christ alone.
He is the author of Jesus, Not the Steps: Why Christ, Not AA, is the True Path to Breaking Alcohol Addiction, a bold and compassionate work proclaiming that deliverance comes not through human effort or method but through the saving work of Jesus Christ.
As a composer, Eric creates cinematic rock soundscapes that blend emotional post-rock guitars, elegant piano, and ambient textures. His music bridges intensity and introspection, drawing from emo, alt-rock, and melodic metal to craft pieces that are both powerful and deeply human.
His compositions have been featured in more than 350 television shows and commercials, including The Olympics (NBC), The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (CBS), FOX NFL Sunday, MLB World Series, and Pinky Malinky (Netflix), reaching global brands such as Titleist and Hugo Boss. He also co-leads City of Beasts, creating emotionally charged rock for film and trailers.
Eric lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
